This winter, we’ve teamed up with our friends at Travelski, who’ll be offering direct trains to the Alps as part of a package. Find out more here.
You can also hit the slopes by taking the Eurostar to Paris, then hopping on a TGV train to Moûtiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice. You can book tickets for the whole journey through our website from 03 November.
And you won’t need to worry about missing your connection in Paris. Because Eurostar is a member of Railteam, your ticket will allow you to jump on the next available train in Paris if you’re delayed or your train is cancelled.
Get to St Pancras International at our recommended arrival time to allow plenty of time to get through border controls and security.
On our direct ski trains you can take one pair of skis or a snowboard - in a protective case that covers the whole item - as well as your two-bag luggage allowance, at no extra charge.
Direct night trains run January-April, direct day trains run December-April.
Whether you’re travelling by day or overnight, our comfy seats and generous leg room mean you can stretch out and sleep or just relax and enjoy the view.
Food and drinks are available at Café Metropole, our onboard bar buffet. However, to ensure a pleasant journey for all passengers, alcohol isn’t sold on night trains and you can’t bring it on board with you.
Eurostar trains arrive at Bourg-Saint-Maurice station, right in the heart of ski country.
There, you’ll find coaches to Val Thorens, Val d'Isère, Courchevel, La Tania, Tignes, Meribel and Les Menuires.
All passport checks are done in the UK, so you can grab your bags and equipment and step straight off the train and onto a coach, no time wasted.
Whether you’re a skier or boarder, beginner or pro, Bourg-Saint-Maurice is the ideal destination, with Les Arcs, La Plagne and the Paradiski area within easy reach of the town.
Give yourself plenty of time for check in.
Use the extra luggage space.
The night train is alcohol-free so everyone can enjoy a peaceful journey.
On our direct trains to Bourg-Saint-Maurice you can carry a pair of skis or a snowboard with you, as well as your standard two-bag allowance.
Pack all your kit in a protective case.
Sleep through the journey on Friday’s night train and wake up in the Alps, all set for a week on the slopes.
Alternatively, travel by day on Saturday, and enjoy the scenery as we slalom south.
