Trains from London to Biarritz

Take the train to Biarritz

Travel to Paris with Eurostar, then it’s just an easy station change and you’ll continue your journey to Biarritz on a TGV. One ticket will take you all the way with confirmed seat reservations for both parts of the journey.

Get to St Pancras International at our recommended arrival time to allow plenty of time to get through border controls and security.

What’s on board?

There’s free wi-fi and onboard entertainment for everyone on Eurostar as well as sockets at every seat for charging devices.

Food and drinks are available at Café Metropole, our onboard bar buffet, throughout the journey.

Your connecting TGV will also have a buffet car, but wi-fi is only free in First class and not all trains have sockets at every seat.

Changing stations in Paris

Once arrived at Gare du Nord in Paris, hop on Metro Line 4, direction Mairie de Montrouge to Montparnasse Bienvenue. You’ll need about 45 minutes transfer time.

You can buy carnets of Metro tickets on board Eurostar at Café Metropole, to save yourself any queuing in Paris.

Your train will arrive at Biarritz station, a short hop from the city centre.

Revisit La Belle Époque in Biarritz

Just 30km up the coast from Spain, Biarritz glitters on the Basque Coast, appealing equally to high-rolling jetsetters, wetsuit-clad surfers, golfers, spa-goers and seafood-lovers.

What’s on in Biarritz?

May:  Festival des Arts de la Rue

July:  Big Festival

Sept:  Le Temps d'Aimer dance festival

Sept/Oct:  Festival de Biarritz Amérique Latine

Best of the beaches

In the last 60 years this glamorous belle époque resort has transformed into a surfer’s paradise.

In fact, the long, sandy beach at La Côte des Basques is where surfing first came to Europe.

A taste of Biarritz

The food in Biarritz has a Spanish twist, with tapas-like pintxos, grilled fish and stews among the local favourites.

Just be sure to save room for a slice of sweet Gâteau Basque.
