Leave from St Pancras International, conveniently located in the centre of London. Arrive at the station at our recommended arrival time for a hassle-free check-in, with no weight or liquid restrictions on your luggage.
Once through security and passport control you can step straight on board and get settled in for your trip to Paris.
You’ll find racks at the carriage entrance for large bags, and space above your seat for smaller pieces of luggage.
Seats come equipped with either a UK or a continental plug socket, making it easy to work or watch films on your own device using our free wi-fi and onboard entertainment.

Once at Gare du Nord, hop on RER line D to Gare de Lyon, it’s direct and takes around 30 minutes. Taxis take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
Your ticket will show your TGV carriage and seat number in either 1st or 2nd class. Don’t be surprised if you’re on a double decker for your trip to Nice Ville station, they’re quite common in France.

Typically, the train journey from London to Nice takes 8hrs 58mins. When you view the available tickets, you will be able to see the length of the train journey for each departure time.
Unlike airlines, there are no hidden costs when travelling by Eurostar. Once you have picked your train tickets (Standard, Standard Premier or Business Premier), there will be no additional fees for seat selection, advanced booking, or luggage allowance.
Eurostar tickets from London to Nice can be booked up to 180 days before your return travel date, however, there are a few exceptions depending on engineering work or when you book. Have a look at our booking calendar and available days will show in black while the greyed-out dates are not available for sale just yet.
You can take liquids on the Eurostar and there is no volume limit, so you can bring all your toiletries and even a bottle of bubbly!
There are no food restrictions, so you’re allowed to bring your own food from home on the Eurostar.
You should get to St Pancras International 30 minutes before departure in order to pass the customs and security checks before your train departs.
Between London and Nice, the high-speed lines allow our trains to drive at a maximum speed of 186 miles per hour (300 km/h).
In addition to our trains from London to Nice, we also offer tickets to Nice from Ashford International and Ebbsfleet International, as well as tickets from cities in the UK that require a change in London.
