Accessible travel for connecting journeys

Everything you need to know about booking assistance on journeys with a connecting train.

Booking assistance on journeys with a connecting train

To make sure you get the assistance you need, please pre-book a ramp and/or any assistance at least 24 hours ahead of your journey. You can do this after you’ve bought your tickets.

For trips with connections and transfers please note that assistance should be booked for all legs of your trip. You can arrange this with the assistance provider in your departure country. Ensure that you allow enough time to transfer, taking into account the provision of the assistance service.

When booking, you can pick a later train if you need more time (subject to availability). Just select Need to change connection time? after choosing a train and fare.

Read on to find out how to book assistance for a journey where you need to catch a connecting train.
