Step onto the Eurostar Snow train, departing every Saturday throughout winter, and glide to wonderful ski resorts in hours.
Set off from London St Pancras International, grab a connection at Lille Europe, and hop off at Chambéry, Albertville, Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-Les-Bains, Aime-la-Plagne, or Bourg-Saint-Maurice – all without getting stuck in traffic. It’s just that simple. And when you make your way home, you can sit back and relax on a Sunday return trip.

Take the train to the French Alps
Taking Eurostar from London to the French Alps is easy and effortless.
Set off from London St Pancras International, but be sure to get to the station at our recommended arrival time.
When you get to Lille Europe, head up to the main floor and check the departures board. When you’ve found your platform, head back down to platform level, get on your connecting Eurostar train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, and hop off at your stop.
On your way home, just do the trip in reverse on a Sunday. But be sure to jump on your Eurostar train at least 20 minutes before departure. You’ll then need to go through border control and security before you board your Eurostar train at Lille Europe.

We’ve got plenty of space for bigger bags on board. In addition to our usual luggage allowance, you can also take ski equipment. Be sure to check our luggage allowances and our rules on sport equipment before you pack.
You can also pick your perfect seat for free – great if you want to stay close to friends and family. And wherever you sit, you can plug in your phone or laptop for a quick charge and connect to our wi-fi.

Travelling between Lille and the French Alps
Your train to the French Alps will have something for everyone. Grab a quick snack to munch on or, if you’ve booked to travel in Standard Premier, you’ll have a meal served at your seat.
And to keep you connected, you’ll have free onboard wi-fi all the way to the slopes and a plug socket at your seat.
Arriving at the French Alps
Whether you’re headed for Chambéry, Albertville, Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-Les-Bains, Aime-la-Plagne or Bourg-Saint-Maurice, there will be a speedy stop when you get to your station. So, make sure you’re ready to hop off when you arrive.
If you’re heading for Bourg-Saint-Maurice station, you’ll find plenty of coaches ready to whisk you to your destination. Board one to head for Val Thorens, Val d’Isère, Courchevel, La Tania, Tignes, Meribel, or Les Menuires.
And if you’re wondering about passport checks, they’re all done in the UK. You can just grab your bags and skis and step straight off the train and onto a coach.

We now have a brand-new route to the slopes. The Eurostar Snow train will welcome travellers on board from 16 December 2023 to 4 February 2024. It’ll depart every Saturday to the slopes and return on Sundays.
The Eurostar Snow train will depart London St Pancras International on Saturdays and return from the Alps on Sunday mornings.
You can take the Eurostar Snow train to the heart of the French Alps via Lille and reach your favourite ski resorts in no time. It’ll stop in Chambéry, Albertville, Moûtiers, Aime-la-Plagne and Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
The Eurostar Snow train’s final stop is Bourg-Saint-Maurice. There you’ll find coaches to Val Thorens, Val d'Isère, Courchevel, La Tania, Tignes, Meribel, and Les Menuires. Find out more about the ski resorts.
That depends which station you jump off at. We’re currently not running a direct train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice. However, with a change in Lille, the Eurostar Snow train will take you all the way to Bourg-Saint-Maurice in a little over 8 hours.
Unlike airlines, we don’t limit the volume of liquids you can carry, so you can take all your toiletries. If you like, you can even squeeze in a bottle of bubbly for the trip. Find out what you can or can’t take on board.
You’ll take two Eurostar Snow trains. The first will go to Lille. You’ll then need to hop on a connecting Eurostar bound for Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
