• Our ticket checks stop 30 minutes before your train departs (or 20 minutes beforehand for Business Premier passengers and Carte Blanche holders).
• To reach the departures building on platform 15b, you’ll need to scan your ticket at the earlier NS ticket gates.
Just so you know, some of our trains might need to stop at Brussels-Midi/Zuid for less than half an hour for border security reasons. This wait is scheduled into your journey time – so you won’t be late. You won’t be able to leave the train during the wait.
You can take a Thalys train from Amsterdam Centraal to Brussels-Midi/Zuid. Then, there's a quick change onto a direct Eurostar train from Brussels to St Pancras International.

To change at Brussels, hop off the Thalys train, then head to the ground floor. You’ll find the Eurostar departure area under platforms 1 and 2.
Once you’re there, scan the barcode on your Eurostar ticket at the ticket gates, pass through security and passport control and you’re on your way again.
Please make sure to download your mobile ticket or print it before your journey. A service fee of €5 is charged for printing tickets in the ticket office in the Netherlands.

Eurostar tickets from London to Amsterdam can be booked up to 180 days before your return travel date, however, there are a few exceptions depending on engineering work or when you book. Have a look at our booking calendar and available days will show in black while the greyed-out dates are not available for sale just yet.
You can take liquids on the Eurostar and there is no volume limit, so you can bring all your toiletries and even a bottle of bubbly!
There are no food restrictions, so you’re allowed to bring your own food from home on the Eurostar.
