Dominique Reiniche was appointed Chair of Eurostar in July 2019. Dominique is also Chair of Chr. Hansen, the global bio sciences company, and is non executive director of Mondi, Paypal and Severn Trent. Prior to building a portfolio of non executive director roles on the boards of international listed companies, Dominique was successively CEO of the Europe Group of The Coca Cola Company and of Coca Cola Enterprises. She began her career in consumer-facing business including Procter and Gamble and Kraft Jacobs Suchard where she was Director of Marketing and Strategy.
Mike became CEO of Eurostar in March 2018, having been CEO of Yodel and Deputy CEO and MD Mainland Europe of Arriva where he led the European transport business with responsibility for rail, bus and trams across 13 countries. Prior to Arriva, Mike was Chief Commercial Officer of EasyJet from its flotation in 2000 until 2005. Before EasyJet, he was MD, Portland Travel, part of the Thomson Travel Group.
James joined Eurostar in August 2010, just as the company was established as a single, unified corporate entity.
He joined from Misys Plc, the banking and healthcare software provider, where he enjoyed a number of senior general management and finance roles, most recently as Group Vice President, Corporate Finance and including leading the Banking and Risk Management software divisions. Prior to Misys, James spent 12 years at Cable & Wireless Plc, the international telecommunications provider, in both senior general management and finance roles, including six years overseas.
Gareth joined Eurostar in June 2011 from the Department for Transport (DfT), bringing with him 20 years' experience in UK government and an in-depth knowledge of the rail industry. Gareth leads on the development and appraisal of Eurostar’s strategic choices and new business proposals, as well as all regulatory matters, working alongside other business functions to advise on issues affecting Eurostar where government legislation or industry regulation is involved. In addition, Gareth heads up the Legal team and serves the Eurostar board as Company Secretary.
The Honorable Denis Coderre has more than 30 years of experience in the public and government spheres. He was until recently the 44th Mayor of Montreal (2013-2017). From 1997 to 2013 he was a Canadian MP. During that period, he fulfilled several portfolios: Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Minister responsible for La Francophonie, President of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada for Haiti. On the Opposition side, among others, he was Critic for the Minister of National Defense of Canada and Critic for the Canadian Minister of Transports. He is currently Special Advisor, Strategy and International Development of Stingray Group Inc. and Ambassador of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation of Montreal.
Jean-Baptiste Guenot joined the Eurostar board in 2015. Jean-Baptiste is Head of Development for the SNCF Group. He began his career as an Investment Banker in Paris and Hong Kong, and prior to his current role, was Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for the SNCF Group. Jean-Baptiste is also acts as non-executive director on various boards as well as in Investment Committees of Private Equity Funds.
Denis Hennequin joined the Eurostar board in 2012. Denis is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Accor, the worldwide hotel group with over 3,500 hotels in 92 countries. Denis began his career at McDonald's and prior to joining Accor was President of McDonald's Europe responsible for 6,600 restaurants in 40 countries.
Renaud Lorand joined the Eurostar board in 2018 and is currently Director Strategy, Legal & IT at SNCB. Renaud started his career in the financial sector and subsequently worked as chief of staff for several Belgian Ministers. He has a solid experience in the public sector and public finance, as well as in the field of mobility and transport throughout different board position in mainly railway and air navigation. He is currently chairman of the Belgian air navigation service provider Belgocontrol.
Patrick Bastien joined the Eurostar board in 2017, and is a Director at CDPQ Paris, a subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. He currently also sits on the Supervisory Board of Keolis, a leader in public transport operations. Patrick began his career in the water sector with Suez in the early 1990s, and has subsequently held senior management positions with other strategic investors, as well as with some financial investors across the infrastructure space in Europe and North America.
Antoine de Rocquigny joined the Eurostar board in February 2018. Antoine is currently Director Finances Strategy Legal Affairs, within Voyages SNCF. He was formerly in charge of Operations and Customer Service from 2013 to September 2016. Prior to this, he worked for the French Minister of Budget as Deputy chief of staff.
Alain Krakovitch joined the Eurostar Board in March 2020. He is CEO of Voyages SNCF, which has a fleet of 475 trains and carries 129 million passengers year. His portfolio of activities also includes several SNCF subsidiaries, such as TGV INOUI, OUIGO and Intercités. He began his career 25 years ago at SNCF, and is an expert in Mass Transit (he was the CEO of Transilien – 3.5 millions passengers per day) and created the Mass Transit Academy with KEOLIS. At Voyages SNCF, he aims to increase revenue and traffic, achieve performance in a competitive market, and focus on customer services.
Luke joined the Eurostar Board in 2020. Luke is currently an Operating Partner at Hermes Infrastructure. He has held investment and operational roles spanning both investment management and aviation over the past 31 years. Luke joined Hermes Infrastructure in January 2020 and works with the Head of Asset Management on developing further the approach of Hermes Infrastructure in portfolio management. He serves as a Director on invested companies as well as subcommittees to provide oversight and governance as well as support to the executive management . Luke is based in Singapore and is also responsible for sourcing and identifying investment opportunities across Asia Pacific. Over the past 15 years, Luke has held various asset management roles in investment management with Macquarie Bank, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and OMERS Infrastructure. Luke holds an MBA from Deakin University in Melbourne Australia.
