Terms and conditions


Eurostar International Limited, a company incorporated in the UK under company number 02462001, with its registered office at 6th Floor, Kings Place, 90 York Way, London N1 9AG,United Kingdom and THI Factory SA, a Belgian limited company registered with the Banque Carrefour des Entreprises under number 0541.696.005, with registered offices at 4 Place Marcel Broodthaers, 1060 Brussels, Belgium (together “Eurostar”), are organising a competition taking place in the UK, mainland France (including Corsica), Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany (the “Competition”). The Competition will take place between 07:00 GMT on 20 February 2024 and 14 March 2024 at 23:59 GMT (the "Competition Period").


Participation in the Competition is free and there is no obligation to make a purchase. The Competition is open to any person over the age of 18 residing in the UK, mainland France (including Corsica), Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. This excludes Eurostar staff members, members of their family, and those involved in the Competition’s design and implementation. By taking part in the Competition, you declare that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions will result in you being disqualified from the Competition.


To enter, participants will need to complete the survey included under the email entitled ‘Have you heard about Eurostar for Business?’ and complete all questions with responses that are truthful and accurate to the best of their knowledge. Where details to a question are not known, the participant may select ‘Don’t know’ or ‘Unsure’ as an option. To be entered into the prize draw the participant must successfully answer this skill based question: “Which of the following five countries does Eurostar operate in?”. The participant must also provide a valid email address so that if their entry is selected to be a winning one, then they can be contacted via Eurostar. (This email address will be used solely for the purpose of contacting successful winners. All personal data collected will be deleted after the competition winners have been selected.) No entries will be accepted after the relevant Competition Period, as set out in paragraph 1, has ended. Participation in the Competition may be refused if incomplete or incorrect information is provided.


Over the course of the Competition Period, five (5) winners in total shall be chosen at random in an impartial manner from those participants who have correctly entered the Competition (as set out in paragraph 3 above). Eurostar may require those participants selected to verify their identity and the details provided by them before they are confirmed as winner(s) and before the prizes are issued.


5.1 Detail of prizes

Each winner will receive a return Eurostar ticket (the “Prize”).

The Prize is valid for travel between:

  • All Eurostar London routes (to and from London St Pancras International)
  • Eurostar routes between Brussels-Midi and Paris Gare du Nord
  • Eurostar routes between Antwerpen-Centraal and Paris Gare du Nord
  • Eurostar routes between Brussels-Midi and Cologne Hbf
  • Eurostar routes between Amsterdam Centraal and Paris Gare du Nord

No other routes are available for travel with this prize.

The Prize is not available on Eurostar Snow trains or Eurostar Sun trains.

The Prize is available for travel in Standard Premier on Eurostar services operated by Eurostar International Limited and in Standard and Premium for Eurostar Services operated by THI Factory SA.

The estimated total value of each Prize is £500 GBP (including VAT). This estimated value is given by way of a guide only and is subject to change.

Both booking and travel must take place between 04/03/2024 and 31/12/2024.

The Prize is non-transferable, non-changeable, non-refundable and cannot be paid in cash or in kind.

Eurostar tickets are subject to availability. The winner should book tickets as soon as possible to benefit from the Prize on any selected date. As it is compulsory to select a return, the winner must book the outward and return journey at the same time (it is not permitted to book two single journeys). All travellers should travel together for the outward and return journey.

The Prize does not include travel insurance. Once a booking has been made for a Eurostar journey, no exchange or reimbursement is possible. The winner may change the time and/or date of travel up to 7 days before the departure date of an individual journey via the Eurostar website, subject to availability. The Prize does not include personal expenses such as meals or transfers, or anything not expressly stated to be included in these Terms and Conditions.

Eurostar International Limited’s Conditions of Carriage apply to all journeys taken on Eurostar trains. Separate Conditions of Carriage shall apply for Eurostar services operated by THI Factory SA. The Conditions of Carriage can be found in all Eurostar sales outlets and on

In the event of force majeure or in circumstances beyond the control of Eurostar, Eurostar reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions and/or to replace the stated prize with a prize of the same value (as estimated in these Terms and Conditions).

5.2 Issue of prizes

Each winner will be notified by an email from as soon as practicable after the Competition Period, as set out in paragraph 1 above. Eurostar also reserves the right to draw an alternative winner if: (i) Eurostar has made reasonable efforts to contact the winner and contact cannot be made, (ii) the winner is ineligible to enter the Competition, (iii) the winner has not complied with these Terms and Conditions and/or (iv) the winner does not wish to accept the Prize.

Eurostar is obliged to either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, Eurostar will send the surname and country of prize winners to anyone who writes to the address set out below, enclosing a self-addressed envelope:

Any winners who object to any or all of their surname and country being made available must inform Eurostar of such objection immediately upon being informed that they have won a prize. In such circumstances, Eurostar will still be obliged to provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.


By entering the Competition, you agree not to reproduce, modify, or publish in whole or in part these Terms and Conditions, Eurostar’s logo and trademarks, or pages of Eurostar’s website without the prior written permission of Eurostar. In the event of any legal action being taken against Eurostar for breach of any intellectual property right belonging to any third party and pertaining to your participation in the Competition, you shall be responsible for the defence of such action, at your own cost, and you shall pay all compensation which may be awarded to said third party.


To the extent permitted by law, Eurostar does not accept any liability for loss, damage, personal injury or death arising in connection with this Competition other than where it is caused by Eurostar’s own negligence. Unless liability cannot be limited by law, Eurostar’s maximum liability under these Terms and Conditions shall be the total estimated value of each prize. Eurostar shall not be liable for any technical defect, including defects of the Internet, anomalies, hardware or software faults of any nature (virus, bugs, etc.) occurring on your systems. Eurostar shall not be held liable for any consequences on your personal, professional or commercial activities. Eurostar shall not be held liable for any delay or supply issues caused by strikes or problems with the postal service.


Eurostar will process your personal data for the purposes of administering the Competition, and in accordance with its privacy policy, available at You have a right of access, deletion and correction of your personal data. You may also object to the processing of your personal data. These rights can be exercised by emailing Exercising any such right prior to the end of the Competition may result in your disqualification from the Competition. If you object to any or all of your surname and county or made available, please contact Eurostar at the address set out in paragraph 5.2 above. In such circumstances, as set out above, Eurostar must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.


Eurostar reserves the right to cancel, curtail or extend the Competition at any time or to vary these Terms and Conditions. Eurostar may disqualify a participant from the Competition if it believes that the participant has committed a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or in the event of any fraud or attempt at cheating by any participant such as the creation of a false identity allowing for multiple entries. Any queries or complaints should be submitted via the Eurostar Help Centre. The Competition, these Terms and Conditions and any dispute arising under them is governed by English law.
