From late November until the end of December, the Winter Wonders Brussels event transforms the city centre into a festive wonderland. Running for over 20 years, it attracts nearly 2.5 million visitors eager to experience the magic of a Brussels Christmas.

There’s something for everyone at this enchanting event. The Brussels Christmas Market 2025 features over 200 chalets, offering wonderful gifts and festive treats to fill your stockings. Soak up the atmosphere in Grand Place, with its stunning illuminated Christmas tree and spectacular sound and light show.

For winter fun, enjoy two ice rinks and a curling track at Place de Brouckère and Bois de la Cambre. Where to find the Christmas markets

The Brussels Christmas Market features over 250 wooden chalet stalls, spread across the city between Grand Place, Rue de la Bourse, Place Sainte-Catherine, and Marché aux Poissons. You’ll also find market stalls around Boulevard Anspach, Tour Noire, and Place de la Monnaie.

The largest section of the market is at Marché aux Poissons, where more than 200 snow-roofed, illuminated stalls sell Christmas ornaments and festive treats. Don’t miss the Ferris wheel, which offers stunning views of the decorated city from above.
