At Eurostar, we’ve always had a strong sense of responsibility to the communities we’re based in. From tutoring local sixth-form students to supporting nearby charities, we’re committed to giving something back.

Supporting local students

  • We’re a proud board member of Urban Partners – a voluntary business partnership that works to improve the Euston and King’s Cross area for residents, employees and visitors. One of the ways we do this is by supporting pupils from local schools and colleges.

Our staff volunteer to tutor A level students in subjects like French conversation and French grammar. And they provide advice with writing personal statements, CVs and essays. This support delivers excellent results year after year and helps raise the students' A level grades.

Giving to good causes

Monthly charity draw

Since we started in 1994, we’ve held monthly charity draws, giving away Eurostar tickets which can be raffled off.

If you’re interested, you can email charity@eurostar.com and we’ll enter your charity into the draw, which takes place on the last working Friday of each month.

Hunger and homelessness

We’ve partnered with the food-sharing app Olio to donate any unsold food from our onboard bar buffet to local communities.

We also support the winter donation appeals of local homelessness charities, such as the Homelessness Alliance.

Animal charities

We donated blankets from our overnight ski trains to animal sanctuaries in the UK, including Last Chance Animal Rescue

Did you know?

  • In 2015, Eurostar helped launch the ‘Wellbeing Walk’ between St Pancras International station and Euston station. This route avoids busy roads and has at least 50% less pollution.
