Antwerp to Amsterdam trains

Considered one of the most beautiful train stations in the world, the stunning station of Antwerp Central can be reached from the historic centre by walking in just 20 minutes. Buses, trams and bicycles are also available to help you get around the city. The station is served by regional and intercity trains but also offers international connections to France and the Netherlands.

Feeling peckish? Get a little snack at one of the station's food stands before departure. The station also hosts a small supermarket, a ticket office, a relaxation area, a luggage storage service and toilets.

We recommend that you arrive at the station 15 minutes before your train's departure time to avoid unnecessary travel stress.

Your train will arrive at Amsterdam Centraal Station, right in the heart of the city. The station is a stunning Gothic/Renaissance Revival building, designed by P.J.H. Cuypers, the same architect that developed the Rijksmuseum.

When you arrive at the station, please be sure to keep your ticket handy as you’ll need to scan it at the NS ticket gates to exit the station.

Amsterdam Centraal Station is well connected to the rest of the city by the tram network and is within walking distance from the popular Jordaan district, canal belt, and the old centre.
