Take the train to Amsterdam
Check-in and security at St Pancras International takes just 30-minutes so no need to hang around waiting. Remember your passport and make sure any large pieces of luggage are labelled.
The trip to Brussels takes just over two hours. At Brussels Midi/Zuid you’ll change on to a Thalys train for the remaining 1 hr 52 mins to Amsterdam Centraal Station.
What’s on board?
Eurostar trains have comfy seats, lots of legroom and a table where you can enjoy a meal or catch up on work.
You can get food and drinks from Café Métropole or, if you’re travelling in Standard Premier or Business Premier, you’ll get a complimentary meal.
Thalys trains have two classes – Comfort 1 and Comfort 2 – and there’s a bar buffet and wi-fi.
Connecting at Brussels-Midi/Zuid
Once you arrive in Brussels, go down to the main hall and check the departure boards for the next train to Amsterdam.
You don’t need a booking, just find a seat in either Comfort 1 or Comfort 2, depending on your Eurostar ticket.You’ll arrive at Amsterdam Centraal Station, in the heart of the city, with easy access to trams, buses and ferries.
