Changing trains in Brussels
The journey from London to Brussels takes 1hr 52mins. You'll then change to our Brussels to Düsseldorf train for the remainder of the journey.
When you arrive in Brussels-Midi/Zuid from London, follow these steps:
1. Go to the end of the platform.
2. Take the exit into the main hall.
3. Check the departure boards for your connecting train's platform.
4. Follow the signs to platform 3 to 6 for the Netherlands or Germany.
5. Board your train at least 5 minutes before departure.
Our booking system will have given you two trains that provide you enough time to connect. And you won't need your passport checked again. If you need a hand, staff will be available to help.

When travelling from the UK to Germany via Brussels, you’ll need a valid passport. You must also complete your Advance Passenger Information (API) well in advance of your journey.

You can exchange your Eurostar tickets up to 1 hour before departure if you have a connecting ticket as part of your booking. You won't pay an exchange fee for any part of the journey. But you will have to pay any difference in fare between your original and new tickets for both legs of your journey.

Eurostar Standard & Eurostar Plus tickets can be exchanged free of charge up to 1 hour before the original departure time. If your new ticket is more expensive, you will have to pay the difference. If the new price is cheaper, the difference will not be refunded. Tickets exchanged less than 7 days before the departure date become non-refundable. You can also get a refund up to 7 days before travel for 25€/£.
With Eurostar Premier, you can exchange your tickets or get a refund up to 2 days after travel. If your new ticket is more expensive, you will pay the difference. If your new ticket is cheaper, you will not receive a refund of the difference.
