Although we can’t take you there directly for the foreseeable future, you can still get to the South of France by taking a Eurostar train to Paris or Lille and changing on to a connecting TGV InOui train.
As we’re a member of Railteam, you’ll have the peace of mind that you can benefit from the ‘Hop on the next available train’ feature if you face delays en route. If you miss your TGV InOui connection, you can hop on the next available train with no extra charge.
Travel to the Med direct on Eurostar in just over six and a half hours. It’s the perfect hassle-free option for families and people who prefer to travel in style and comfort.
Our two-bag allowance means you can pack as much as you like and, with no restrictions on liquids, you can throw in that family-sized bottle of sun screen as well.
Stow your big bags in the racks just inside the carriage doors and keep smaller items in the racks above your seats. Then relax and enjoy the changing scenery from your spacious and comfy seat as we speed down to the sunny south.
Café Metropole is open throughout the journey for meals and drinks, including Provençal specialities to get you in the holiday mood.
Eurostar stops at Avignon TGV and Marseille St Charles stations so, whatever your final destination in Provence, it won’t be far away.
You’ll find local buses, trains and taxis at both stations to take you wherever you want to go. There is also a good choice of car hire desks.
Our trains arrive just after lunch so you can start exploring immediately.
With its warm summers, soft light and vibrant colours, Provence has long been a favourite with artists, poets and travellers. So grab your sunhat and sandals and go join them.
