Jacques became CEO of Eurostar in October 2020. He joined the SNCF Group in 1982, and held several senior roles including Chief Operational Officer for Eurostar between 2000 and 2005, during the launch of the first high-speed line in the UK. He was appointed to the SNCF Executive Committee in 2006 and became Deputy General Manager in 2012. He then joined the Keolis Group in 2014 as Executive Director responsible for safety and security, operations and maintenance, sustainability and corporate responsibility policies. He was also representative of the European Railway Community (CER) from 2009 to 2013 and has been a Director on the Board of Thalys since 2012.
James joined Eurostar in August 2010, just as the company was established as a single, unified corporate entity.
He joined from Misys Plc, the banking and healthcare software provider, where he enjoyed a number of senior general management and finance roles, most recently as Group Vice President, Corporate Finance and including leading the Banking and Risk Management software divisions. Prior to Misys, James spent 12 years at Cable & Wireless Plc, the international telecommunications provider, in both senior general management and finance roles, including six years overseas.
Mary joined Eurostar in October 2009 and is responsible for managing communications with the media, stakeholders and employees. Mary joined Eurostar from Lloyds TSB Group where she spent 10 years as Head of Media Relations and then as Director of Corporate Relations. She began her career in PR consultancy at Ogilvy and Mather running campaigns for a range of corporate and consumer businesses. Prior to Lloyds TSB she was Director of Public Relations for PKF.
Philippe Mouly joined Eurostar in 2016 as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Before moving to Eurostar, Philippe held a number of senior positions in the French national railway company, SNCF, including Director of Train Managers, Chief of Operations and TGV Fleet Manager for SNCF Voyages, and Director of TGV Atlantique.
Marc joined Eurostar just before its launch in 1994 and held a number of operational roles before becoming Head of Customer Service in 2003. He then spent two years as HR Director before returning to Customer Services as Director in 2006. His responsibilities now include HR, Station Operations, On board Services, Catering, Security and Traveller Care.
Gareth joined Eurostar in June 2011 from the Department for Transport (DfT), bringing with him 20 years' experience in UK government and an in-depth knowledge of the rail industry. Gareth leads on the development and appraisal of Eurostar’s strategic choices and new business proposals, as well as all regulatory matters, working alongside other business functions to advise on issues affecting Eurostar where government legislation or industry regulation is involved. In addition, Gareth heads up the Legal team and serves the Eurostar board as Company Secretary.
Laurent Bellan joined Eurostar as Head of Customer Systems in 2012, becoming Chief Information Officer (CIO) three years later.
Before Eurostar, Laurent spent ten years at the global pharmaceutical company, Bristol Myers Squibb, where he was IT Director for the French business and then Director for Enterprise Web in the US.
François joined Eurostar in April 2011 and held a number of analytical and managerial roles within the Commercial function before becoming Head of Business Performance in 2015 followed by Business Optimisation Director in 2019. His responsibilities include Revenue Planning, Timetable Optimisation, Yield Management and Pricing.
Richard joined Eurostar as Customer Engagement Director in January 2019. In his new role, Richard will be leading the Sales, Marketing, Digital and Loyalty teams, putting our customers at the heart of everything we do.
Prior to joining Eurostar, Richard was the Customer & Marketing Director at B&Q and before this he held a number of senior and directorship positions at Vodafone both in the UK and afield and including Global Multi-channel Distribution Director, Consumer Business Unit Director (Commercial, Sales & Marketing) and Global Head of Marketing (Internet Services).
Amber joined Eurostar in 2019 as Customer Experience Director and is responsible for the brand strategy and the overall customer experience, including; product and service development, data and insight, and travel ancillaries. She is passionate about putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. Prior to joining Eurostar, Amber was Marketing and Customer Experience Director at Virgin Holidays and before this was Global Brand Director at UK high street retailer, Boots, and spent 12 years at Proctor & Gamble (P&G).
