We’re going for gold this summer

We’re over the moon to be official partner to Team Belgium and Paralympic Team Belgium for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic games this summer.

Together we go further

On your marks, get set... the Olympics and Paralympics are coming to Paris in 2024.

As the city prepares to play host to thousands of the world’s greatest athletes, we’re limbering up to ferry hundreds of Belgium’s finest sportsmen and women to the Olympic Games.

Add to that the thousands upon thousands of excited fans who will be joining us on board this August and September, and we’re in for quite a summer!

Meet our ambassadors

We’re not just rooting for our athletes on their journey to the podium. We’re also proud to support the following Olympians and Paralympians as partner ambassadors. Allow us to introduce them to you...

Ambre Ballenghien

23-year-old Ambre is a field hockey player, playing as a striker. She is considered one of the greatest hopes for Team Belgium in women's hockey.

Twelve years on from London 2012, the Red Panthers (Belgium's national women's team) have finally managed to qualify for the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympics Games. Ambre is ecstatic after qualifying and is more motivated than ever to lead her team to victory.

"We'll be back with a medal, that's for sure".

Luka van den Keybus

Aged 27, Luka is an artistic gymnast, captain of the Belgian national team. His results at the 2023 World Championship have enabled Luka to qualify as an individual for the general gymnastics competition at the Paris 2024 Olympics Games.

"It's a dream come true. In Paris, I'll have nothing to lose.”

Man-Kei To

Aged 37, Man-Kei is a world-class international para-badminton player. She is a European champion in the singles and won the bronze medal at the 2024 World Championships in Thailand last February.

More motivated than ever as she awaits confirmation of her qualification.

"I've learnt a lot, and I've still got 4 tournaments to go before the Paris Paralympics.”

Wim de Paepe

38-year-old Wim de Paepe is a para-triathlete.

20 years after his Olympic debut in the Athens Paralympic Games as a para-swimmer, Wim is dreaming of qualifying for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in Triathlon and his latest results, a Bronze medal at the World Triathlon Para in Devonport, bring that dream ever closer. He awaits an official response on his qualification in early July.

*The analysis by EcoRes uses average CO₂ emissions per passenger travelling 1km. The calculations used 2022 internal data from the entire Eurostar-Thalys network (annual consumption of traction electricity, number of passengers transported, number of km travelled by these passengers), and CO₂ emission factors attributed to traction electricity produced in the respective countries crossed. For thermal cars, the emissions factor used is average for a combustion-powered car (averaged fuel) on a long-distance journey at 171gCO₂/km considering 2.2 person per car, taken from the ADEME (French Agency for Ecological Transition) Carbon Base. Calculations for the average CO₂ emissions per passenger for flights used combustion emissions from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) calculator, with additional upstream emissions data (WTT) based on DGAC (direction Générale de l’aviation civile) ratio of 22%. Non-CO₂ effects (condensation trails and cirrus clouds) were not taken into account. More information on eurostar.com.

Calculations taken from an independent study carried out by EcoRes SCRL in July 2023.
