Left something at the station, or lost something en route? Find out how to track it down.

Where did you lose your item?

  • At one of our terminals: If you've lost a non-perishable item, it'll be kept at the lost property office at the station where it was found.
  • On the train: it'll be taken to the lost property office at the train's destination station.

Perishable items will be disposed of at the end of the working day – all the more reason not to forget that Camembert under your seat.

You may need to pay collection and/or storage charges. If you’d like your item posted back, a fee will be payable to the lost property office. If you live in the UK or the EU, a courier service is also available.

To help us find your item more quickly, make sure you have the following details to hand when you get in touch:

  • Date when the item was lost
  • Train number (coach and seat number if possible)
  • Description of the item
  • Your contact details and address

London St. Pancras, Ebsbleet and Ashford lost property

The Eurostar lost property office is open from Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 17:00 (GMT)
All non-perishable items are kept for 28 days.

Paris Gare du Nord Lost Property

The SNCF lost property office in Gare du Nord is open from 08:00 to 13:00, then 14:00 to 20:00 (ECT). It is located on level -1 next to the car rental agencies.

Brussels-Midi/Zuid Lost Property

The SNCB lost property office is open 24 hours a day.

Any found items will be handed in to the lost property desk and you'll need to a small fee of €5 when you collect it.

To claim your lost property once you're back in the UK, go to belgianrail.be/en/customer-service/lost-objects.aspx.

Lille Europe Lost Property

Marne la Vallée Lost Property

The SNCF lost property office is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 22:00 (ECT).

If you're still in Marne-la-Vallée when you realise you've lost something, go to the station information desk as soon as possible.

After a couple of days, your item will be forwarded to Paris Gare de l'Est.
