With our daily trains direct from St Pancras International to Rotterdam Centraal, it takes just 3hrs 13 mins to speed from city centre to city centre.
There are no hidden charges for luggage or limits on liquids. You no longer need to change in Brussels on the return, as you can simply hop on a direct train back.
So you can sit back, relax and enjoy the journey as we shuttle you seamlessly from city centre to city centre. With our new flexible tickets, you can book now to go when you feel ready.
You’ll need to arrive at St Pancras International 45-60 minutes before departure.
That way there’ll be plenty of time to scan your ticket at the ticket gates and breeze through security and passport control.
Once you’re through, you can pick up a few refreshments for the journey or just sit back and relax until it’s time to board.
Kick back and enjoy the scenery as it flashes by.
There’s free wi-fi on our trains and each seat has a power socket – so, there’s no danger of your phone dying before you can post that all-important onboard selfie.
You can get food and drinks from Café Métropole if you get peckish. And, if you’re travelling in Standard Premier or Business Premier, you’ll get a complimentary meal.
Children under 16 cannot travel unaccompanied on our direct route to the Netherlands.
Please be sure to keep your ticket handy for arrival. You’ll need to scan it at the NS ticket gates to exit your destination station.
Looking for local information? Pick up maps, flyers for attractions, and ask for handy travel tips at Rotterdam Tourist Information. You’ll find it just inside the main entrance to Rotterdam Centraal.
You can now take a direct train back to London from Rotterdam Centraal in just 3 hours 30 minutes.
Please arrive at the station 60-75 minutes before your train’s due to leave. Once you’re at the station:
1. Scan the barcode on your ticket at the NS ticket gates
2. Follow signs to platform 2 where you’ll find the Eurostar departures area
3. Once you’re there, our team will check your ticket (ticket checks close 30 minutes before departure)
4. Then you’ll go through security and passport control
5. When it’s time to board, use the signs on the platform to find your coach number
So you know, some of our trains might need to stop at Brussels-Midi/Zuid for less than half an hour for border security reasons. This wait is scheduled into your journey time – so you won’t be late. You won’t be able to leave the train during the wait.
If the times of our direct trains don’t suit, you can take a Thalys train from Rotterdam Centraal to Brussels-Midi/Zuid. Then, there's a quick change onto a direct Eurostar train from Brussels to St Pancras International.
