You can check whether your trip is eligible at any time by entering your booking reference and last name above. The primary passenger on any eligible trip may be invited to bid for an upgrade via email a few days before the scheduled departure. Upgrades are permitted on Eurostar London Routes Services (i.e., routes to/from London St Pancras International and routes between Lille Europe and Brussels-Midi) from Standard to Eurostar Plus only.

You'll be notified whether your bid has been accepted or not at least 24 hours before your scheduled departure time. If your bid has been accepted and payment has been successful, your booking will be automatically upgraded and you'll be notified by e-mail.

You can amend or cancel your bid at any time up until your offer is accepted by Eurostar. You can modify or cancel your offer by using the link in the offer confirmation email, which will give you access to the offers you have submitted.

Yes, if your bid is successful and your upgrade is awarded, you'll be charged the full amount of your bid and billed separately from the fare you paid for your initial booking.

While you may notice an authorization on your credit card at the time you place your bid, your credit card won't be charged until your upgrade has been awarded. If your bid is not accepted, there will be no charge to your credit card.

No, upgrades apply to all passengers on the reservation.

No. Club Eurostar points are calculated based on the value of the original ticket for which the reservation was made and not for the class in which the passenger actually travels.

Once your bid is accepted, the bid amount paid is final. If you cancel, or change train, the bid amount paid for the upgrade will not be exchanged or refunded. Your upgrade cannot be transferred to another passenger. Your Ticket (excluding the bid amount) can still be exchanged free of charge up to 1 hour before your original departure time upon payment of the difference in price, and is refundable up to 7 days before departure for a fee of €25/£25/$40.
