Status update
Due to fire damage to the railway near Rotterdam, we’re unable to run direct trains between the UK and the Netherlands up to and including 02 July 2026. Unfortunately, it means that Amsterdam and Rotterdam stops have been cancelled and trains on this route are running between London and Brussels only. A small number of trains will run between France/Belgium and Amsterdam up to and including 02 July 2026. However, none of them will stop at Schiphol or Rotterdam. As these trains need to take an alternative route around the damaged area, journey times will be significantly longer, and seat availability is reduced. We strongly advise that you postpone or cancel plans where possible. Exchanges can be made for free and full refunds are available. We apologise for the inconvenience the situation has caused. Update at 10:30 UK time on 01 July: We’ve just been informed by NS, the Dutch railway infrastructure manager, that disruption may continue until 04 July 2026 inclusive. We’re currently reviewing what this means for our timetable on 03 and 04 July 2026. We’ll update you as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
