Die Port van Cleve is in the centre of Amsterdam, right behind the Nieuwe Kerk on Dam Square and next to Magna Plaza. It's only three minutes from the city's main shopping street Kalverstraat, seven minutes from The Anne Frank House and, thanks to the Dam/Raadhuisstraat tram stop near the hotel, Centraal Station and the Museumplein are both only minutes away.

Our hints & tips
Set within an old Heineken building, this hotel is well located in the city centre, near the royal palace. Rooms at the front boast beautiful views but can be a little loud if you’re a light sleeper.
Try the famous on-site steak restaurant, the first in Amsterdam that allowed both men and women to dine together. Over 10 million steaks have since been served and counting.
Don’t forget to enjoy a tipple at the traditional wood-clad bar, complete with the finest Dutch beers and beverages.
