Invalides and Faubourg Saint-Germain

This part of the left bank, from Saint Germain to les Invalides, boasts some of the most famous places in Paris; a long walk is necessary to take in everything the area has to offer.A cultural visit might include trips to the musée d'Orsay, the Rodin museum, the Army museum, Hôtel des Invalides and the newer quai Branly museum. On a more "natural" note, this neighbourhood is also rightly famed for its parks: you will certainly enjoy a pleasant stroll from the Luxembourg Palace gardens to the Champ de mars, by way of the esplanade des Invalides. In terms of shopping, the famous Bon Marché is a must-visit: a temple to pleasure and fashion...The 7th arrondissement is a top-end neighbourhood which is well worth a visit.
