      Bruegel. Unseen Masterpieces

      Beyond Klimt

1918 saw both the end of World War One and the death of Gustav Klimt. Bozar looks back at the period leading up to the Second World War – a time characterised by great economic and artistic change. These fertile, turbulent years also brought about a desire to forge connections across borders that transcended political ideologies. This exhibition explores the short-lived sense of shared culture among the expressionists and fantastical artists who experimented with new forms of expression in the post-Klimt era.
