If you want to combine two of your favourite things – sightseeing and drinking beer – The Heineken Experience may be the perfect activity for you.

It's within walking distance of the Museum Quarter, so the perfect place for a bit of popular culture (and a drink) after a morning of fine art and Old Masters.

The Heineken Experience

The first Heineken brewery has been turned into a museum full of interactive experiences where you can find out all about the company, discover how beer is brewed and play games linked to the sports they sponsor. At the end of the tour you’ll have the opportunity to sample the product as you learn the ‘correct’ way to drink beer.

If you want to avoid the crowds, there is also a VIP tour which will get you a private tasting in the rooftop bar as well as some hands-on experience of beer brewing.

Buy your tickets in advance, either online or in a tourist office, and beat the queues.
