Eurostar Service Update

National Strike Belgium

 

24 November + 01 December 2014

Due to a National Strike in Belgium on the 24th November and 1st December 2014, connecting journeys may be impacted to or from Brussels Midi.

Eurostar will be operating a normal service on these dates but as we are not aware of the impact beyond Brussels Midi we would like to offer an exchange if you decide not to travel.

This change would be free of charge, for an alternative date within 120 days, subject to availability in the same class of travel.

08 + 15 December 2014 - No Eurostar services operating to and from Brussels

Due to a National Strike in Belgium on the 8th + 15th December 2014, Eurostar services on the Brussels route will only be able to operate to and from Lille Europe on that day.

Travellers with a booking to/from Brussels Midi

Eurostar services will not be running to or from Brussels on the 8th + 15th of December 2014, therefore Eurostar would like to offer you:

* either change your booking free of charge for an alternative date within 120 days, subject to availability in the same class of travel,
* or cancel your booking, for a full refund.
* alternatively, if you are looking to travel to/from Lille Europe please consult the amended timetable below and change your booking accordingly.

Please note that your booking will not be accepted unless it is to or from Lille Europe!

If you would like to take up either of these options, please contact your original point of sale or Eurostar’s contact centre, up to 60 days after your booked travel date.

Travellers with a booking to/from Lille Europe

Eurostar will be working to a reduced timetable to and from Lille Europe on the 8th + 15th December 2014

The following trains have been cancelled for passengers booked to/from Lille Europe:  from London St Pancras 9114, 9126, 9148 and from Lille Europe 9109, 9113, 9141, 9149, 9157 so passengers have been automatically reaccommodated onto the next available train as shown below in the table.

Train 9126 reaccommodated to 9132 departing London St Pancras 12.58 and Ebbsfleet 13.15 arriving Lille Europe 15.30 local time

INBOUND
Train 9109 and 9113 reaccommodated to 9117 departing Lille Europe 10.00 arriving London St Pancras 10.27 local time
Train 9141 reaccommodated to 9145 departing Lille Europe 16.36 arriving Ebbsfleet 16.45 and London St Pancras 16.57 local time
Train 9149 reaccommodated to 9153 departing Lille Europe 18.36 arriving London St Pancras 19.03 local time (This train will not stop at Ashford International)

Sunday 7th + 14th December 2014

The impact of Belgium strike means that the last 2 trains from London St Pancras on Sunday 7th + Sunday 14th December will be changed as follows:

Train 9156 originally departing London St Pancras at 19.04 local time will now depart 30 minutes earlier.

The new time will result in the 9156 departing London St Pancras at 18.34 arriving Calais 20.29, Lille Europe 21.00 and Brussels Midi 21.38 local times. Please check in at least 30 minutes before the new departure.

Train 9162 departing London St Pancras at 20.03 will terminate in Lille Europe. If you are booked to Brussels Midi and wish not to travel, Eurostar would like to offer you the chance to:

  • either change your booking free of charge for an alternative date within 120 days, subject to availability in the same class of travel,
  • or cancel your booking, for a full refund.

Our new ticket office

Light, bright and beautifully designed, our brand new ticket office has now been unveiled at St Pancras International.

Opposite check-in and along with a fresh new Business Premier ticket office, it brings all things Eurostar together in one place, making for simpler, smoother journeys from London.

Buy and collect your tickets from the ticket office, or use your payment card to collect them from the e-ticket machines nearby. Then just turn around and check in – easy.


Travelling to Disneyland® Paris on Thursday 27 November, Monday 8 December or Sunday 15 February?

We’ve now stopped selling tickets from Ebbsfleet International direct to Disneyland® Paris for Thursday 27 November, Monday 8 December and Sunday 15 February. This is to stop the departure lounge there getting too full, but you can still travel from London or Ashford.

If you haven’t booked yet
There are still seats available. You’ll just need to buy tickets from London St Pancras International or Ashford International and board the train at one of those stations.

If you’ve already booked tickets from Ebbsfleet International
Don't worry, the train will still stop at Ebbsfleet as normal but it might be worth leaving a little extra time to check in, since it'll be busy.


Ashford International closed all day on 15th March 2015

Engineering works will be carried out at Ashford International on Sunday 15th March 2015.

Eurostars 9014 and 9040 (to Paris), 9074 (to Disneyland), 9019, 9039 and 9055 (from Paris), 9152 to Lille and Brussels, 9153 from Lille and Brussels, 9057 (from Disneyland) and 9099 (from Bourg St Maurice and Moutiers) will NOT stop at Ashford.
