Eurostar Service Update

Travelling this weekend? Make sure to allow plenty of time

The French border authorities have recently changed their policy and increased their checks for all travellers entering France. With this extra passport check and a busy bank holiday weekend, we’re asking our travellers to arrive at the station earlier than usual by allowing 45 minutes for check in.

Arrive 45 minutes before departure

Check-in opens 60 minutes before your train leaves and there are plenty of seats, as well as places to buy food and drinks on the other side.

Be security savvy

You can take liquids with you, so there’s no fuss with miniature bottles and see-through bags. Just pop your luggage, jacket and metal bits and bobs in a tray and go through.

Have your passport ready

It’ll be checked by UK and French authorities after security.

We’re very sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause – please rest assured that we’re working closely with the authorities to find a smoother solution.

Eurostar™ carte blanche

Travelling from the UK in the next few weeks?

Since there’s an extra passport check at our UK stations at the moment, please make sure you arrive no later than 10 minutes before your train’s due to leave. You can still use fast track check-in but it might be slightly slower than usual during rush hours.

Don’t forget that if you arrive at St Pancras International with time to spare, you can relax and unwind with complimentary drinks, snacks, papers and magazines, or log on to free wi-fi in our Business Premier lounge.

Belgian rail strike commencing 27 May

We are not expecting Eurostar trains to be affected by this strike, for passengers intending to travel within Belgium, we recommend that you check for the latest updates.

Travelling to Disneyland ® Paris from Ebbsfleet International?

We’ve now stopped selling tickets from Ebbsfleet International on our direct service to Disneyland® Paris on:

  • Saturday 23 May
  • Sunday 24 May
  • Monday 25 May
  • Sunday 23 August

This is to stop the departure lounge there getting too full on those days, but you can still travel from London or Ashford.

If you haven’t booked yet
There are still seats available. You’ll just need to buy tickets from London St Pancras International or Ashford International and board the train at one of those stations.

If you’ve already booked tickets from Ebbsfleet International
Don't worry, the train will still stop at Ebbsfleet as normal but it might be worth leaving a little extra time to check in, since it'll be busy.

Ashford International closed all day on 27th September 2015

Engineering works will be carried out at Ashford International on Sunday 27th September 2015.

Eurostars 9014 and 9040 (to Paris), 9074 (to Lille and Disneyland), 9019, 9039 and 9055 (from Paris), 9152 (to Lille and Brussels), 9153 (from Lille and Brussels) and 9057 (from Disneyland) will NOT stop at Ashford.
