At the station

At your Eurostar station

Wondering what to expect at your Eurostar station? We've made things as simple as possible, so you and the family can breeze through check-in and on to the train in no time.

Check-in up to 30 minutes before departure

You may like to arrive a bit earlier if you've got lots of luggage. You'll soon whizz through check-in, security and passport control in one go before a quick stop in our comfy departure lounge.

How much luggage can I bring?

On top of our normal luggage allowances, you can bring one pushchair and one car seat per child.

There's no need to check in your luggage on Eurostar and no restriction on liquids either. You just take everything through security and on to the train.

Need help with your luggage?

Travelling alone with children? Simply speak to a Eurostar member of staff at your departure station. Please be patient as, where necessary, we'll always help people with mobility difficulties first.

For help when you arrive at your destination you'll need to book it in advance by speaking to the Eurostar team at your departure station.

Boarding the train

In some stations we'll invite families to board first so you can get settled and enjoy more quality time on the train.
