Nice stretches along the beautiful coast line called la "Bay des anges" (bay of angels) where, according to tradition, local fishermen used to catch a small species of sharks called angels of the sea.
A stroll along the famous Promenade des Anglais is a must and, if you're feeling adventurous, you can even rent some roller skates to cover all 7km of it.
Visiting Nice is almost like travelling through time, as you can be transported in a matter of minutes from the historical part, "Vieux Nice", to a more modern city that which encompasses all the glitter you can expect from a big city located on the Côte d'Azur.
