Price based on a return journey and tickets at this fare are only available for travel (according to your local departure time):

  • between midday and midnight on a Monday
  • anytime on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 
  • between midday and midnight on a Saturday.

So that we can find the best price for the National Rail part of your journey, please let us know the ages of all passengers who will be between 4 to 25 years old when you travel.

Choose Trains

Take the train to Montpellier

Rendez-vous at St Pancras International at least 30 mins before your train departs for security and passport checks. You’ll be changing trains for Montpellier in either Paris or Lille.

In Paris, it’s a quick transfer from the Gare du Nord to the Gare de Lyon, direct on RER Line D. In Lille, you just have to head up to the departures hall and change platforms.

What’s on board?

You’ll see luggage racks for big suitcases as you enter your carriage, and more above your seat for smaller bags and cases. Toilets are located at the end of every carriage. 

Wi-fi and onboard entertainment are free for everyone and there are sockets at every seat for charging your devices.

Food and drinks are available from Café Metropole, our bar buffet.

Arriving in Montpellier

Your train will arrive at Montpellier Saint-Roch, right in the heart of the city. There are no passport checks so you can just step off the train and head straight outside into the action.

There, you’ll find buses, trams and taxis to whisk you to your hotel, as well as rental bikes if you’re travelling light.
