  • Eurostar is gearing up for a cracking Christmas, with more than 420,000 people expected to travel with the high-speed rail operator - a 11% rise in passenger numbers compared with the equivalent festive holiday period in 2012 *.


    More than 210,000 Brits will escape the UK for a festive break in Europe with Paris, Disneyland Paris and the French and Swiss Alps proving to be the most popular Eurostar destinations. Friday 20, Friday 27 and Monday 30 December are the busiest days for departures, and there will be a party atmosphere in all Eurostar stations up to the big day itself.

  • Following the success of Eurostar's trial service to Lyon and Provence last spring, Eurostar's annual summer services direct to Avignon in the South of France will open for sale tomorrow earlier than usual and for an extended travel period. The 2014 weekly Avignon service will run between 28 June and 13 September, with fares available from only £109 return.


    The 2014 Avignon service has been extended by two weeks following high demand for Eurostar's trial spring services to Lyon, Avignon and Aix-en-Provence, which demonstrated that holidaymakers are keen to explore more of Provence....

  • Eurostar is launching a new version of its award-winning “Maybe” advertisement, featuring real stories from its passengers.


    The re-edit was created working with AMV BBDO and will make its debut on stories.eurostar.com today (Monday 9th December) before it goes live across Eurostar’s social channels.

  • From the 9 December, Eurostar passengers are able to book tickets for travel to Paris, Brussels or Lille even further in advance as Eurostar introduces an extended, summer booking horizon. Extending the horizon to six months means that travellers can now finalise their summer travel plans up to two months earlier.


    The high-speed passenger rail service between the UK and mainland Europe has introduced an extended summer booking horizon following feedback from holidaymakers who value the flexibility to plan their summer holidays further in advance.

  • Holidaymakers looking to kickstart 2014 in style can treat themselves to a discounted New Year break in Paris, Lille, Brussels or Disneyland Paris thanks to Eurostar’s express sale offering return tickets from just £54 per person for groups of two or four passengers. 


    Travellers have two weeks in which to take advantage of the special offer, with the express sale running from the 21st November to 2nd December for travel between the 6th January and the 12th February 2013.   • On Saturday 9 November, 60 British school children travelled from London to Brussels with Eurostar to take part in a special ‘Last Post Ceremony’ under the Menin Gate in Ypres, on Monday 11 November in tribute to the courage and self-sacrifice of those who fell in the First World War.
