HR: What We Do
In HR we work with managers across the company to ensure issues are managed in the right way across employee relations, recruitment, organisational development, occupational safety and employee benefits.
We try to keep everything running smoothly. At the same time, however, we like to experiment with new ways to approach people matters.
We enjoy challenging the norm and being curious. We're constantly re-vamping our policies and processes, looking for better and more efficient ways to do things.
The launch of our new website is just one example of this.
We've done arrays of work on performance management. We manage two major development programmes:
- Personal Excellence and
- Management Excellence
These help our employees to work together more effectively. We're also getting into succession planning.
Health and Safety
We work hard to provide all of our employees, customers, visitors and contractors with safe environments.Recognising that every activity poses its own risks, we aim to control these through our Safety Management Systems. Our health and safety performance is exceptional, and it didn't get that way by accident!

How would we describe our working environment?
There's always a buzz in the office, it's extremely busy (people constantly drop in to see us with queries) but we also have fun!
Who Are We Looking For?

You've got to have a 'can-do' mentality – when things get tough it's no good giving up. You must be a team-player and prepared to 'get your hands dirty' - we don't want people who say "that's not in my job description". Priorities are constantly changing, so you need to be a good juggler.
