The Finance Department is central to the Eurostar business.
The Department is split into three main areas:
Financial Accounting, Business Analysis and Financial Control, each of which reports to the Finance Director.
This is the largest team within the Finance Department with a diverse set of responsibilities that include Treasury, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Statutory Reporting and Tax Compliance.
This team prepares the monthly management accounts, annual budget and forecast. Each key business area i.e. Customer Services, Production, Commercial, Corporate and Information Systems, is managed by one or more members of the Business Analysis team.
The team's key activities include financial management of key contracts, invoicing of Eurostar ticket sales, Accounts Receivable and the implementation of fraud prevention measures.
