What else do I need to know?
The offer applies to inbound travellers only, so if you’re travelling from London to Paris or Brussels you can get 2 for 1 entry to paying exhibitions or permanent collections at any of the French or Belgian museums and galleries listed below. You may be asked for proof of nationality at the museum or gallery ticket desk.
The offer is available for up to five days after your arrival in your destination, and only one person need have a Eurostar ticket to qualify for 2 for 1 entry.

London Galleries and Museums
A trip to London just wouldn't be complete without a visit to Tate Modern, the busiest museum of modern art in the world. Housed in the former Bankside Power Station on the banks of the Thames, Tate Modern boasts the awe-inspiring Turbine Hall running the full length of the building, not to mention amazing work by such artists as Cézanne, Bonnard, Matisse, Picasso, Braque, Giacometti, Rothko, Dali, Pollock and Warhol.
Avoid the crowds and visit Tate Modern late on any Friday or Saturday evening, when Tate Modern is open until 22:00.

With the largest collection of British art in the world, the unmissable Tate Britain displays iconic masterpieces by artists such as Hogarth, Gainsborough, Constable, Whistler, Sargent, Hepworth and Bacon. The gallery has a highly-acclaimed restaurant and you can travel by Tate Boat along the river to Tate Modern, taking in some of London's greatest landmarks along the way, including Big Ben and St Paul's Cathedral.

Founded in 1753, the British Museum’s remarkable collections span over two million years of human history. The world’s greatest museum of art and design represents over three thousand years of human creativity. Galleries include spectacular ceramics, fashion, glass, jewellery, metalwork, sculpture, textiles and paintings.
In recent years the Museum has undergone a dramatic programme of renewal and restoration, with splendid Victorian interiors becoming displays that are both beautiful and inspiring. The National Portrait Gallery houses the world’s largest collection of personalities and faces, from the late Middle Ages to the present day. Visitors can come face to face with the people who have shaped British history and culture, from Elizabeth I to David Beckham. Artists featured range from Holbein to Hockney and the collection includes work across all media, from painting and sculpture to photography and video.
As well as the permanent displays, the Gallery has a diverse programme of exhibitions and events and a stunning rooftop restaurant and bar with spectacular views across the London skyline.

Paris Galleries and Museums
Housed in the former Gare d’Orsay, this striking museum on the banks of the Seine is a work of art in itself. Its palatial glass dome provides an exceptional atmosphere of light and space, perfect for appreciating works from some of the world’s finest artists. The collections date from 1848 to 1914 and take in paintings, sculptures, furniture and photography. Most famous though is its extensive collection of impressionist and post-impressionist masterpieces from painters such as Cézanne, Degas, Gauguin, Manet, Monet, Renoir, Seurat, Sisley and Van Gogh.

Monographs of artists, retrospectives, new creative projects and the latest scientific research, open to 20th-century art movements, all visual arts and all civilizations: the Galeries nationales present a thorough, wide and generous vision of art history. Since they were founded in the heart of Paris by the Champs-Elysées, in the historical place of the Grand Palais building, the Galeries nationales hosted nearly 250 major exhibitions, in collaboration with the biggest museums in France and abroad.
What’s more, to avoid the queues such a varied programme inevitably invites, you can book your tickets in advance online. Purchase one ticket to the exhibition of your choice, present it along with your Eurostar ticket at the Galeries nationales du Grand Palais and enjoy ‘2 for 1’ entry and the chance to jump the queues.

Opened in June 2006, the musée du quai Branly works to bring arts from the civilisations of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas the recognition they deserve. Wandering the banks of the Seine, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower you’ll spot this impressive Jean Nouvel-designed modern building boasting a living green wall made up of hundreds of plants. Inside meanwhile you’ll find a permanent collection of some 3,500 works, as well as 5,000m² dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

Housing a museum, temporary exhibitions and a large music hall for classic, jazz or rock concerts, Cité de la musique offers the possibility to discover the heritage of music from all over the world, from the 12th-century to today.
The museum, reopened in March 2009 after two years of renovations, has expanded its collection to include new musical styles, with objects from around the world including instruments, drawings, models and interactive supports.
Cité de la musique also offers a very popular exhibitions programme. Previous event subjects include Jimmy Hendrix, The Pink Floyd, Brasilian Popular Music, John Lennon, Richard Wagner, Serge Gainsbourg, Miles Davis and Chopin.

Named after the early form of tennis which used to be played within its walls, Jeu de Paume is a leading center for photography and contemporary image. Inside a light, airy building, its exhibitions and activities embrace all periods of image capture, from the 19th to the 21st century, and all kinds of practices, including photography, cinema, video and installations.
Edward Steichen, Richard Avedon, Cindy Sherman, Federico Fellini, Jean-Luc Moulène, Robert Frank, Jordi Colomer, Francesco Vezzoli, Shinji Aoyama, Agathe Snow, Lisette Model are among the artists whose work has been shown.

Located between the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower, the Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris is internationally renowned for its single artist and thematic exhibitions. Over the years the museum has also built up a permanent collection of almost 9000 works representing the major artistic movements of the 20th century, including Delaunay’s L’Equipe de Cardiff, Léger’s Disques and Matisse’s La Danse.

Brussels Galleries and Museums
Housed in an Old England department store next to the city’s Place Royale, the Musical Instrument Museum displays over 1121 instruments from around the world and throughout the ages. Don a pair of infrared headphones as you enter and hear recorded samples of each instrument you pass, from a 16th Century court of Brussels viola de gamba, to a 20th Century Russian electromagnetic theremin. The '2 for 1' offer also applies to all priced tickets including concessions.

The Bozar Centre for Fine Arts sits at the heart of Brussels culture, hosting some 250 concerts a year, as well as prestigious international film, theatre, dance, literature, architecture and art events. Two of Brussels’s most famous museums can be found together at the main branch of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts. In the Museum of Ancient Art you’ll find a vast collection of paintings, sculptures and drawings from the 15th to the 18th century, including works by such masters as Bosch, Rubens and van Dyck. The Museum of Modern Art meanwhile picks up from the 19th century and brings us up to the present day, giving a logical continuation of artistic evolution.
