Nicolas Petrovic, Chief Executive Officer
Nicolas became CEO of Eurostar in April 2010. He joined as Director of Customer Services, London, in August 2003 before spending almost four years as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his tenure at Eurostar, Nicolas worked for SNCF as the Secretary General for Direction Grandes Lignes and Operational General Manager for the Paris Saint-Lazare area. In addition to his extensive experience in the transport industry in both the UK and France, Nicolas gained an MBA from INSEAD in 2003.
David Brown, Director of Finance
David joined Eurostar in 2003 as Head of the Business Analysis team. After an 18 month secondment to SNCF in Paris, he was promoted to Director of Finance at Eurostar in March 2009. Prior to Eurostar, David held various Finance roles at BSkyB and at Price Waterhouse, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997.
James Cheesewright, Chief Financial Officer
James joined Eurostar in August 2010 from Misys Plc, where he was Group Vice President, Corporate Finance, which included responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, cost and cash management, and driving financial and operating performance across the Misys Group. He joined Misys in 2006 as Business Transformation Director and then became Chief Operating Officer of the Core Banking Division as well as managing the Risk Management Software Division. Prior to Misys, James spent twelve years at Cable & Wireless Plc where he held a number of senior finance and general management positions across the business both in the UK and overseas, including Chief Operating Officer of C&W Regional and Chief Financial Controller.Delphine Couzi, Operations Director
Delphine joined Eurostar in January 2008 as Operations Director. She is currently responsible for Operations Delivery, including Operations, Safety and Rolling Stock. Prior to joining Eurostar, Delphine spent 18 years at SNCF in Operational roles. In June 2010 Delphine was awarded the ‘Ordre national du Mérite au grade de Chevalier' in honour of her contribution to the rail industry.Christophe Lemaire – Chief Information Officer
Christophe joined Eurostar in July 2009 and is in charge of all Information Systems for the company, overseeing the Reservation and Distribution systems, as well as the Operations, Maintenance and Corporate systems, including desktops and voice systems. Christophe previously spent 18 years at SNCF in various Information Systems positions. Just before joining Eurostar, he was Director of the SNCF Lille Data Centre, where Eurostar's reservation system and distribution channels are hosted and operated.Kara Livingston, Director of Strategy
Kara joined Eurostar in 2004 from Orange, to look after E-commerce and Loyalty activities within the Commercial department. More recently she has led the Operational Strategy team and her current focus also includes the development of company-wide strategic planning, managing project prioritisation and resourcing across departments, as well as managing the Tread Lightly Environment & Energy team.Nicholas Mercer, Commercial Director
As Commercial Director Nick Mercer has overall responsibility for all Sales and Marketing activities across all markets. Nick's primary responsibility is for revenue generation activities across the business. Prior to joining Eurostar, Nick has, at various times, held Sales and Marketing Director positions with Air Miles, First Direct and Open, the Sky TV interactive platform.Richard Morris, Director of Business and Service Continuity
Richard joined Eurostar in March 2010 as Director of Business and Service Continuity and brings with him a wealth of experience from the railway industry. Most recently Richard was Managing Director Delivery, Crossrail. Prior to this he was Operations Director at Chiltern Railways and before that Operations Director for London Lines. From 1994-97 he was Railway Operations Director for Eurotunnel.
Marc Noaro, Service and People Director
Marc joined Eurostar just before its launch in 1994 and held a number of operational roles before becoming Head of Customer Service in 2003. He then spent two years as HR Director before returning to Customer Services as Director in 2006. His responsibilities now include HR, Station Operations, On Board Services, Catering, Security and Traveller Care.Mary Walsh, Director of Communications
Mary joined Eurostar in October 2009 and is responsible for managing communications with the media, stakeholders and employees. Mary joined Eurostar from Lloyds TSB Group where she spent 10 years initially as Head of Media Relations and then as Director of Corporate Relations. She began her career in PR consultancy at Ogilvy and Mather running campaigns for a range of corporate and consumer businesses. Prior to Lloyds TSB she was Director of Public Relations for PKF, the professional services firm.
Gareth Williams, Director of Regulatory Affairs & Company Secretary
Gareth Williams joined Eurostar in June 2011 from the Department for Transport (DfT) as Director of Regulatory Affairs and Company Secretary, bringing with him 20 years’ experience in UK Government and an in-depth knowledge of the rail industry. Gareth oversees all regulatory matters, working alongside other business functions to provide strategic advice on issues affecting Eurostar where government legislation or industry regulation is involved. In addition, Gareth heads up the Legal team and serves the Eurostar Board as Company Secretary.Company Information
