Grantham to Paris
Grantham is a fascinating red brick and stone old town, with a high steepled parish church, St. Wulfram's, which has the sixth highest spire among English churches. The town is best known as the birthplace and childhood home of former prime minister Margaret Thatcher, and as the place where Isaac Newton went to school. That's a bit about Grantham, but the best thing about Grantham now, is that we have teamed up with several UK train operating companies so you can travel all the way to your continental destination paying just one price*.
There are lots of places to explore abroad... in Paris, cruise along la Seine in a relaxing sight-seeing boat or catch a glimpse of the Mona Lisa and other great works of art in Musée du Louvre. In Brussels, don't forget to see the amusing small bronze fountain sculpture, the Manneken Pis.
