Bridgend to Paris
Bridgend is an old market town dating from the 16th century. The remains of Newcastle Castle sit up on the hill within the oldest part of Bridgend. It's an important conservation area - the castle is a Norman castle. Sublime views are up here on a clear day, plus other old buildings including a church and cottages. That's a bit about Bridgend, but the best thing about Bridgend now, is that we have teamed up with several UK train operating companies so you can travel all the way to your continental destination paying just one price*.
There are lots of places to explore abroad... in Paris, cruise along la Seine in a relaxing sight-seeing boat or catch a glimpse of the Mona Lisa and other great works of art in Musée du Louvre. In Brussels, don't forget to see the amusing small bronze fountain sculpture, the Manneken Pis.
