Terms and Conditions

1.    By applying for tickets under this promotion, the applicant will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and to be bound by them.
2.    To be eligible to buy tickets under this promotion an applicant must be aged 18 or over, be a resident of the United Kingdom and must be in possession of a relevant promotional voucher that has been obtained either:

A.    from one of the newspapers produced by the Kent Messenger Group, or
B.     by exchanging proof of purchase from any store in the Bluewater shopping centre for a promotional voucher at the Eurostar store at Bluewater.

3. Bookings may be made in one of the following ways:

A.    Calling the Eurostar contact centre promotional line on 08701 602 080 and quoting the password provided on the promotional voucher. All telephone bookings will be subject to a £5 booking fee.
B.    Visiting www.eurostar.com/2for1 and entering the password given on the promotional voucher.
C.    Booking in person at the Eurostar store at the Bluewater shopping centre, and providing the original promotion voucher.

If the booking is made by telephone or internet, applicants may be asked to produce the original promotional voucher as evidence of their eligibility to book tickets under this promotion.

4.    Booking lines will be open from 1 April 2008 until 31 May 2008 inclusive. Bookings may only be made at the Eurostar store and by telephone during the hours that the store and telephone lines respectively are open. Booking online is possible anytime from 1 April 2008 until 31 May 2008, with the exception of any website maintenance that may need to take place.

5.    This promotion is limited to one booking per applicant. Multiple applications will not be allowed, but one single application may include travel for a minimum of 2 people and up to 9 people travelling together in standard class on the same route, at the same time, on the same date on the outbound and inbound journeys.

6.    Additional tickets above 2 and up to the maximum of 9 per application may be purchased under this promotion at a cost of £29.00 per additional ticket.
7.    All travellers in each booking must travel together in standard class either from Ebbsfleet International to Paris, Brussels (any Belgian station), or Lille or from Ashford International to Paris, and return to the point of departure. Connecting trains in Brussels on the outbound and inbound journey must be taken within 24 hours of arrival in Brussels and excludes the Thalys and ICE services.

8.    Bookings must be made between 1 April 2008 and 31 May 2008 inclusive, for travel between 6 May 2008 and 31 August 2008. Bookings must be made at least 14 days prior to departure, but not more than 120 days before the return travel date.

9.    This promotion is subject to availability and levels of availability to all destinations may change. In this respect, availability for travel using tickets under this promotion is limited for each train.  Some trains may not be available for travel under this promotion; some trains may already be full and consequently no seats will be available for this promotion.  This is more likely on Fridays after midday, Saturday mornings, Sundays after midday and holiday periods.

10.    Tickets will be mailed out within 10 days of receipt of payment only to UK addresses or can be collected from the self service ticket machines or ticket desks at Eurostar terminals.

11.    There are no promotional reductions for children who must travel at the adult rate under this promotion or refer to Eurostar points of sale for child fares.

12.    Payment for tickets under this promotion may only be made by selected debit or credit cards. Payment by cash or cheque will not be accepted.

13.    This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion. Bookings made prior to this promotion for use during the period of this promotion cannot be refunded or exchanged for any ticket acquired under this promotion. This promotion cannot be combined with hotel and car hire. Applicants are free to book hotels and car hire separately but this will not form part of this promotion and no refunds of any difference in price will be given.

14.    The promotion does not include any other incidentals including, but not limited to, accommodation, meals, drinks, minibus, telephone calls, travel insurance and the cost of local travel at the chosen destination.

15.    Applicants must comply with all relevant customs and immigration requirements for international travel, including the appropriate passport and visa requirements. Eurostar Group Limited and Eurostar (U.K.) Limited will not be responsible for any passenger’s failure to comply. Applicants and their travelling companions are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance.

16.    No alterations, refunds or exchanges will be permitted once the reservation has been accepted.

17.    Eurostar does not undertake to issue duplicate tickets to replace lost, stolen or mislaid tickets.

18.    Eurostar (U.K.) Limited Conditions of Carriage apply to travel on Eurostar trains. Copies are available from Eurostar sales points or at www.eurostar.com.

19.    Applicants and their travelling companions must check in at least 30 minutes before departure and may not be allowed to board the train if they do not do so. Eurostar Group Limited and Eurostar (U.K.) Limited will not be liable for any passenger failing to make the departure time indicated on their tickets.
20.    Eurostar Group Limited and Eurostar (U.K.) Limited shall not be liable for any costs, claims, damages or loss occasioned by any failure, however caused, to fulfil the terms of this promotion.

21.    Eurostar Group Limited and Eurostar (U.K.) Limited reserve the right to refuse to honour any application or to recover the full fare for any booking if it considers there has been an abuse of this promotion or a breach of the terms and conditions of this promotion.

22.    The decision of Eurostar Group Limited and Eurostar (U.K.) Limited in all matters is final and binding.

23.    All tickets offered under this promotion are compulsory returns and are non-exchangeable (i.e. no cash or other alternative will be offered instead of the tickets) and non-refundable and tickets may not be transferred to third parties. In the event of cancellation by applicants, for whatever reason, no refund or alternative tickets will be given. Bookings will not be changed once confirmed.
