Tignes & Val d'Isère
Tignes & Val d'Isère
Tignes lies at the head of the Haute Tarentaise, a short drive up the valley from Bourg-St-Maurice, and is connected by lifts and pistes to Val d’Isère.
Character-free, snow-laden. If it’s adventure you’re after, Tignes is the place to be. Plenty of off-piste runs, lots of boarding and breathtaking descents making it a thrilling ski holiday.
If you want Alpine charm and après ski activities, go to Val D’Isere.
Val, as it’s affectionately known by its fans, is described as one of the best on- and off-piste mountain attractions and is well loved among the boarding community. High altitudes practically guarantee snow, but it also means this resort is best for expert or, at the very least, the confident skier. However, as the many schools also cater for mixed groups including beginners, it’s actually an aptitude melting pot.
We make things simple and organise your travel, accommodation, lift passes and ski hire…
our best offers.
In Val D’Isère, no good skier or rider should miss a day-trip to Bonneval-sur-Arc.
Starting with a 20-minute hike from the top of Le Fornet, followed by a choice of sweeping powder descents… It’s a must.
