Travel to Avignon

For many people there’s no place quite like Provence, and to be honest we can’t help but agree. With its rural Gallic charm, breathtaking scenery, delicious Mediterranean cuisine and exquisite climate, this southern region possesses a certain magic quite unlike anywhere else in France.
Just don’t tell our friends in the north we said that.
In its heart sits the medieval city of Avignon, the ideal place to start your Provençal tour, or simply visit for a taste of the region.
With our weekly summer services to Avignon you can travel there direct in just under six hours, while throughout the rest of the year you can make one simple change in Paris or Lille and catch a TGV to take you the rest of the way.
The links below contain plenty of information about both these options, as well as tips on where to go and what to try out once you get to Avignon.
Between 10 July and 11 September 2010 we're running direct weekly Saturday services from St Pancras International and Ashford International to Avignon Centre station.
