Eurostar signs partnership agreement with leading Belgian conference venue
Eurostar, the high-speed train operator that links the UK with France and Belgium, today (7 June 2005) announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Brussels Expo - one of Brussels’ leading conference venues.
The agreement is the first between Eurostar and Brussels Expo and means that the Belgian venue will name Eurostar as its ‘Official Carrier for the UK’.
Brussels Expo began life in 1935 as the venue for the Brussels Universal Exposition. It has expanded over the years and today features 12 impressive halls - the largest of which is 13,000 m².
With its range of halls Brussels Expo can accommodate events ranging from small conferences to major international trade fairs.
The agreement with Brussels Expo means that Eurostar has now established partnership agreements with the principal conference venues in all its key destinations, including: Paris, Brussels, Lille and Disneyland Resort Paris.
Emma Harris, UK Sales Director, said: “We’re delighted to sign this partnership agreement with Brussels Expo to further grow the conference and incentive market from the UK to Belgium.
“The agreement builds on the partnerships we have already signed with the leading conference venues in Paris and Lille. “
