Eurostar presents Christmas and New Year

  • New fares on daily direct services to Disneyland Resort Paris from only £59 return
  • Christmas at the resort starts on 6 November
  • Direct weekly Eurostar night & day ski services launch to the French Alps
  • Christmas markets in Brussels, Lille and Calais

Bookings are already strong for Eurostar’s passenger services through to France and Belgium over Christmas and New Year. With Eurostar’s fast journey times it is so easy to pop over to the continent to do some Christmas shopping or visit friends and family on a day trip or for a short break.

To compliment the popular permanent lead fares of £59 return to Paris / Brussels (and any Belgian station) and £55 return to Lille / Calais, Eurostar have also introduced a new lead fare of £59 return on its daily direct services to Disneyland Resort Paris. This is Europe’s leading tourist destination with its two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios, 7 themed hotels, golf course, nearby shopping complex and it is less than 3 hours away from London. Eurostar’s daily direct services serve the resort station which is just a couple of minutes walk to the gates of the parks.

This year, Christmas magic at the resort starts on 6 November and runs through to 9 January 2005. With parades, a guaranteed daily sprinkling of snow, magical shows and all your favourite characters the parks offer a unique, exciting and memorable experience for all the family. Extra direct services to the resort have already been introduced for the October half term holidays, which coincide with Disney’s Halloween Festival which runs until 31 October 2004.

Skiers are eagerly looking forward to the start of Eurostar’s direct weekly ski services to the French Alps which launch the 2004/5 season on 19 December (night service) and 20 December (day service) and operate to the last return services on 2 April 2005.

As previous years Eurostar will not be operating on Christmas Day. Services will finish earlier from all destinations on Christmas Eve. Boxing Day will have normal Sunday services. On New Year’s Eve there will be early closure from all destinations and on New Year’s Day (Saturday 1 January) Eurostar will be operating a normal Saturday service.

With the offer of Christmas markets, endless shopping opportunities and fortified with great food and wine, it’s time to get out the euros and enjoy Christmas and New Year at one of Eurostar’s chic destinations.
