Eurostar scoops prestigious Travel Weekly Award
Eurostar has been awarded Travel Weekly's 'Best Rail Operator - UK, Europe and Long Haul' award at the magazine's annual Travel Weekly Globe Awards.
The award was voted for by more than 11,500 travel agents across the UK and was presented to Emma Harris, Eurostar's UK Sales Director, by comedian Lenny Henry at the Travel Weekly Gold Awards ceremony in London last night (14 January 2004).
Eurostar secured over a third of the votes cast in its category beating off competition from the Orient Express, US rail operator Amtrak, GNER, Rail Europe and Virgin Trains
