St Pancras and other UK stations

Wednesday 14 November 2007 marks the beginning of an exciting new era for Eurostar and for the future of European high-speed rail.

Getting to St Pancras International

Underground from Waterloo to King’s Cross St Pancras = 15 minutes.

Taxis are also plentiful at Waterloo station = 15 minutes (approx).

For some travellers, a direct tube connection from Vauxhall station to St Pancras International via the Victoria line might be the best option = 13 minutes.

Or from London Bridge via the Northern line  = 12 minutes.

Getting to Ebbsfleet International, Kent…

Car Travellers who currently drive to their local station in order to use domestic rail to reach Waterloo or Waterloo East, will have the option of driving instead to Ebbsfleet International, just off junction 2 of the M25 near Dartford and the Bluewater shopping centre in north Kent.

Ebbsfleet International will also have a high-frequency Fastrack bus service linking to local railway stations at Dartford, Northfleet and Gravesend.

Importantly, with the choice of both St Pancras and Ebbsfleet International, no-one who currently accesses Waterloo International via domestic rail will face longer door-to-door journey times than at present – and journeys will be significantly shorter for the vast majority.
