Human Resources

ROLE: - Head of Organisational Development
DURATION: - 2 years
LOCATION:- Times House, King's Cross

I love having the opportunity to work with a complete cross section of people from the business – in one day I can go from working with a group of Customer Service Team Members to facilitating a workshop to coaching senior managers and directors – it is so varied.  I really like that my job can have an affect on every single part of the business – in all countries and all locations.  I love the fact that I am able to use my skills and talents on a daily basis.  The role keeps me really busy and there is always a lot to do – in a really good way, it is so motivating.  The people I work with – Eurostar is without doubt the most fun place I have worked.  Everyone is so warm, welcoming and passionate about the company, it makes my job a lot brighter!
Eurostar is an interesting and fun place to work at.  It’s hard work but rewarding.  We are informal but serious enough to get the job done properly!

ROLE: - Human Resources Business Manager
DURATION: - I have been at Eurostar for 11 years
LOCATION:- Times House, King's Cross

My role is about working in partnership with line managers and employees. I am responsible for employee relations and change management.
I enjoy the hands on approach of the role.  One day I can be advising line managers about people issues the next day I can  be presenting a workshop on a piece of employment legislation that they need to be aware of.  The variety of work is great and the challenges are exciting and endless.

People often ask me why I have been here so long!  I always reply because it’s a great place to work.  I joined as an HR Administrator and with training and development I have worked my way up the career ladder.  Eurostar care about their employees and provide great opportunities and benefits to all.

Eurostar is a great place to work.  The team spirit is excellent.  Everyone is approachable and willing to help.  Eurostar is a great place to work; it’s rewarding and full of realistic opportunities.
