All tickets for this period within our advanced, simplified fare range will be bookable until the 20th March 2012 when tickets will switch back to the normal booking process through these channels.


  • What dates will customers be able to book during this special booking period?
    The 'Olympic Games period' refers to the 16th July 2012 to 15th August 2012 inclusive.
     
  • What's the timetable going to be during this period, will there be any changes?
    The timetable during the 'Olympic period' will vary dependent upon the dates you wish to travel and will on average feature 20 returns from Paris and 13 from Brussels, that's up to 3 additional services on each route.

    Due to the domestic Javelin service operating from St Pancras and Ebbsfleet to Stratford International, there will be 2 separate timetables in operation both within the period the sporting events take place (27th July 2012 to 12th August) and the surrounding dates (16th to 26th July 2012 and 13th to 15th August 2012).
     
  • How much will these tickets cost?
    During this advanced period of tickets sales from the 21st June 2011, there will be a simplified version of our fare range with return travel per person to both Paris and Brussels starting at only £159/ €189 return.

    All fares will of course be subject to availability.
     
  • What type of ticket will be available to purchase during this period?
    We have also ensured that there will be a range of fare types and flexibility during the 'Olympic period' with non-flexible, semi-flexible and fully flexible tickets available.

    All Standard and Standard Premier class tickets will be semi-flexible, with the option to exchange the date or time of your ticket for another date during the Olympic period, before departure, for a fixed fee of €33 per segment of the journey plus the difference in price should you be required to move to another fare subject to availability. These tickets will also be 25% refundable up until 2 months before departure.

    The Business Premier fare during this period will be fully flexible until 1 month before departure.
     
  • Will these tickets have all Eurostar's usual Terms and Conditions applied?
    Eurostar's conditions of carriage during this period will remain the same
     
  • How do I go about making changes to/ cancelling my booking should I need to?
    All changes and cancellations to your reservation during this period should be made through the contact centre via the booking number provided above.

    Please note that changes or cancellations to your reservation will not be possible until October 2011.
     
  • Will customers be able to obtain their tickets via all the usual methods after purchase?
    Reservations made in the first months of the process will be confirmed by telephone and acknowledged by email. A further confirmation of the booking will be sent out from October 2011 where the option to print tickets at home via the regular method on Eurostar.com will become available.
     
  • Will the process for wheelchair bookings be any different during this period?
    All bookings should be made through our booking line, however wheelchair passengers and their companions will receive a fixed fare of €88 return from both Paris and Brussels in line with our current fare structure.
     
  • Will Eurostar be retaining the usual luggage policy for this period?
    The onboard luggage policy for the Olympic period will remain the same as usual. Passengers will be restricted to up to two medium-sized suitcases or rucksacks plus one small piece of hand luggage (handbag, small rucksack, folding baby's buggy etc.), provided you can easily carry such articles and they can be fitted into the luggage spaces provided onboard.
     
  • Where will the Eurostar be stopping during the Olympic and Paralympic Games?
    Eurostar will bring you to within 8 minutes of the Olympic Park, with convenient stopping points at both St Pancras International and Ebbsfleet International. Here, the domestic 'Javelin' rail service will transport you at 140mph to the Olympic Park at Stratford.
