Eurostar’s other UK stations

Britain’s first high speed line will provide two new intermediate stations at Ebbsfleet International near Dartford in north Kent; and at Stratford International in East London, close to the City and Canary Wharf.  Eurostar will also maintain its existing station at Ashford International in east Kent.

Ebbsfleet International Journey times will be 10 minutes less than from St Pancras International. Only a part of Eurostar trains will stop at Ebbsfleet International.

- The station is strategically located near Dartford in North Kent and just off Junction 2 of the M25 (which gives access to the region north and south of London) and close to the M20.
- Ebbsfleet International station will have a huge car parking as well as taxis and car rental facilities. The new station will also have a high-frequency ‘Fastrack’ bus service linking it to other local railway stations.
- Travellers will have easy access to for instance East London, Docklands, Essex (with for instance Stansted), Sussex (with for instance Gatwick).
- It will open shortly after services begin from St Pancras International.

Ashford International will retain daily services to Paris and Disneyland® Resort Paris, and weekly services to Avignon during the summer and the French Alps during the winter. Travellers from Brussels will be able change at Lille.

Together, Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International will mean that from November 2007, Kent will be served by 45% more Eurostar services.

Stratford International will only open when good quality road and public transport connections are in place. The station is strategically located near the City and Canary Wharf.

It will not be possible to launch passenger services in 2007 because the new station is located in the midst of a massive construction site for the Stratford City and 2012 Olympics developments.
